Music to my ears

I was folding clothes today and heard Ethan singing in the other room. I could tell he was definitely singing an actual song (he tends to make up a lot of what he sings) and so I wandered out to the family room to hear what song he was singing. To my delight, it was one of my favorites that we sing in church. He has most of it memorized word for word (maybe missing a word here and there) and so I thought I'd share it with you all.
Its such a joy to hear my son singing "So here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that You're my God!"

Here I am to Worship:
Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness, opened my eyes let me see.
Beauty that made this heart adore You, hope of a life spent with You...

So here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that You're my God,
You're altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to me!

King of all days, oh so highly exalted, glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came to the earth You created, all for love's sake became poor...

So here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that you're my God,
You're altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to me!

And I'll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross and I'll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross... I'll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross -- repeat chorus

Its really cute - when Ethan gets to that last tag of the song he sings it louder and louder and then quietly repeats the chorus. I asked him "how much did it cost for Jesus to die on the cross for you?" and he said "Ummm.... five dollars." :)
