fluff in your mellow?

Our kids are big fans of Marshmallow fluff sandwiches. They love them with chunky peanut butter and often times sliced bananas in between the bread. As Rachel would say, its "yummers".
Only problem is, I'm not a fan of the Jet Puffed marshmallow fluff. If you read the ingredient list you';ll change your mind about the stuff. But I haven't been able to find a good recipe to make my own {or, I'm finding good ones and I'm just not good at it}.
We were at one of our local stores today - sells all local, organic products and we mostly go to buy our meat there, since its 100% grass fed, local meat. During our visit something high up on one of the shelves caught my eye... I reached for it thinking "no way!" and sure enough, there it sat... the ALL natural Marshmallow Creme, or in our house, known as "fluff."
We had a small celebration in the aisle and then a bigger celebration once we noticed it was only $3.50 per tub! So we bought 2 of them :)

I had to share, in case you're a fan and just don't know the good stuff is out there.

Seriously. I grew up with fluff. Well...when my mom would let us have it. Nothing like a 'fluffernutter' as they call it on the East Coast. Ugh...now I really want one. Delicious.

So was it really as good as the 'real' stuff??

The real stuff, as in (the Jet Puffed stuff with all the crap in it?!) its WAY better :-)
We're loving it and finding new uses for it as well.
Nini... I think someday our kids are going to react just like you when they come across it again :)

I wonder if I could find it out here??? I've never even fed my kids marshmallow fluff because its so horrible, but I would totally feed them this! I've seen tons of recipes for homemade granola bars using this (the processed, junky kind...that is) & I'm thinking I could substitute this...

Maybe you can ship me a tub if I can't find it here? ;)

Maritez, I imagine a place like Whole Foods would have it? I never even thought to look for all natural fluff. Someone suggested making it, so I found a somewhat decent looking recipe, but it was NOT yummy. It was very un-enjoyable to eat, which is not how fluff should be :)

If you don't find it at any stores near you, I noticed you can order this brand off Amazon!
