Its just, oh so wonderful!

I went to Clayton today, to my favorite used Children's clothing store; Growing Pains. Its a very small store, but jam-packed with lots of goodies. I go with a budget of $50 bucks or less and I stock up on all kind of outfits for the kids and I've never gone over $50 -- coming home with at least 5 outfits for both of them.
Today I went in search of church clothes. Rachel desperately needed some dresses and sweaters and Ethan needed some nice khakis and some button down shirts.
I was looking at her shelves of accessories, because she usually has awesome stuff up there and low and behold... I found this MaClaren baby bouncy seat that I love! When Ethan was a baby I wanted this seat, but it was $105 bucks and I could not spend that on a seat. Well... this store was selling an almost brand new looking one (same color to this picture) for only $21.00!!
I of course bought it. I'm not pregnant, but we do hope to have more babies, so I figured it was cheap enough to buy now and use later. :) I am so excited!

I've learned a lot about what products I like and dislike during Ethan and Rachel's baby days and one thing I learned was wishing I had something (besides their car seat) for them to lay and play in while we were at someone else's home. I thought I would like one of those Moses baskets, but I borrowed one from a friend (with Rachel) and she basically out grew its use by the time she was 3 months old. So... that's no good. This seat is SO comfortable, has lots of padding, lays all the way down and sits all the way up and has straps to carry it around with. It also rocks when you take the break off and has a button you can turn on to make it vibrate. So high tech.

Our poor kids were so confused. Ethan kept asking who we bought it for and I told him it was for us, for when God gives us another baby. He looked at me very puzzled and then said "Mommy, now we just need to take you to the Doctor and ask him to give you a baby!"
Oh, if it were that simple. :) I explained the whole process of the mommy getting pregnant and the baby grows inside the Mommy's tummy for almost a year and THEN the baby is born and gets to come home. He smiled and said "We could just ask Dr. Barlo to give us one." :)

Wow! What a great find! I wouldn't have survived without our bouncy seat when Jenna was a baby. She LOVED it.
Those seats are definitely helpful when you need a few minutes to wash dishes or clean house (or make dinner!). :-)
What a cool store, wish we had that sort of thing around here. You're right Stef, I do need to move.

It's always cool to find great deals!! Is that the same store where you found that dollhouse?

No, that store is in Monterey and its called Tinker Toys. This store is mainly 2nd hand clothes and she often has baby carriers, strollers, seats, play yards, etc...

The kids do say some of the funniest things. Ethan has wanted another baby long before we have. :) I think Rachel was 6 months old and he started asking when we would have another baby. He loves all the babies at church and gets so concerned if we're out in public and a baby starts crying. Its cute how he totally has this sensitive side.
I'll give you the information on that store on Sunday. Its not too far away, but for you, the one in Tracy would be way better.
Seriously?! What's this dry spell we're going through at church?! Seems like there's usually 6 women pregnant and now, just ONE? Terrible.
We'd be thrilled, but so far its not in God's plans quite yet.

Haha! Ethan does the same thing! He asks me often "can we pray for a baby too?" I don't want to seem desperate since Rachel's only 17 months old, but I guess its never wrong to be desperate for one of God's blessings?! :)
I think we're just more surprised than anything, that we're not pregnant yet. It will happen, but in God's time. Its always God's timing and that's the best.

See you tomorrow and I'll give you directions to the store!
