You girls are all too kind. I think I should post a picture on here once a week, just for my self esteem booster. :) As we all know, these last few weeks just feel huge and annoying. I am trying to enjoy them though, since its almost over.
Gina, the dress I bought just this past weekend at the Motherhood outlet in Gilroy - love it! I use it mainly to go over my suit, but lately I've been wearing it around the house and its SO comfy!
Haha! I loved your comment, Erin. No... it wasn't this big last month. Its sort of morphed into something quite large over the past two weeks. I've dropped too so I'm sad to say, I waddle a bit when I walk. :( My OB said the baby already weighs at least 6 1/2 pounds so its no wonder the belly is growing!
well, I think you all look absolutely beautiful when you're pregnant, so we're even. :) Thank you for all the compliments. You girls are really too kind.
I am seriously flattered by all your compliments. I'm always the one telling pregnant women they look so good, but I don't see it the same way on myself. I need to listen to my husband a little more. ;)
My secret? Chasing two toddlers around and keeping a busy schedule. :) In all honesty, its really that. I don't diet at all when I'm pregnant and we don't own a scale, so weight is quite far from my mind. I'd rather have a healthy baby. One thing that definitely has helped me this time is the Bradley Method class we took. It reminds you to focus on eating when you're hungry and only eating food that gives good nourishment to the baby; lots of protein, fiber, good fats, etc... that has definitely helped me this time.
You really do look great! And I can see what you mean about having moved into the energy phase again, you look like you could keep going like this for a while! :)
Probably like most of you Moms, I've been sick of being sick throughout the winter. Its such a fun, holiday time of year and totally stinks when you're stuck inside, with illnesses. And, if you're not a fan of getting a vaccine for every little bug that goes around, you end up realizing you have to do your research to learn how to build up the immune systems and keep your brood healthy. I'm also learning that when it comes to sickness {we're talking sickness that won't cause death}, its actually good for our bodies to learn to fight things off naturally and not constantly running to get shots or drugs to cure us from ever getting sick again {which those shots don't do anyway}. I'm no pro and my oldest child isn't even 7 yet, so I'm definitely not posting this to teach you ladies anything. And, for those of you with older kids, feel free to leave tips for how you keep your family healthy or natural ways to fight off colds and viruses. ...
I am so excited about this blog giveaway! Some friends of ours in Northern California have started a company called Blackflower & Company and we're doing a blog giveaway with them here! I received my tea a few days ago and it is, hands down, the best peach ginger tea I've ever had. I wanted to help them get word about their business spread and in the meantime, one of you gets to win pretty cool prizes :) The prize is 2 (4 oz.) bags of tea {your choice} and one of their very special teapots! This is an awesome giveaway, valued higher than $30 Here are the rules to follow: enter a comment in this post If you'd like to go to their website 1st, you can look around and let us know what flavor tea you'd chose and which color teapot you'd like if you win. If you have a Facebook account, be sure to 'like' them on FB and then you get to leave a 2nd comment here, letting me know and it will increase your chances of win...
... is our 2nd born child, but 1st daughter. She's so often the sunlight in our home and the giver of frequent hugs. She believes a good hug and an "I love you" can will fix just about anything. People that hang out with us often tell us "Rachel plays so well all by herself!" or we often hear "Rachel is so easily entertained and very quiet!" Both statements are true... even though she is, without a doubt, our loudest speaking child {its the Italian in her, I guess}. She does play well by herself and she is easily entertained. Rachel is coming on turning 4 1/2 and is very excited about it. She's convinced that eventually she will catch up in age with Ethan. She turns 4 1/2 in January and will be all excited for one month, until Ethan turns 6. Then she realizes that he's somehow staying ahead of her. Best words to describe our 1st daughter would be..... sweet polite caring affectionate random chatty happy deep & emotional...

Was that a detailed enough answer? :)
