pictures I forgot about

Several months back I started looking on craigs list for a couple baby items that we were in need of. I am very thankful to say, I found above and beyond what I was looking for and at great prices! One of my favorites was this cute little travel bassinet that I found for our family vacation we'll be taking after she's born. I took some pictures of some of my fun finds and also grabbed a picture of some baby bibs that Jason's mom gave me. They were his bibs when he was a baby! Super cute and the picture doesn't do them justice, but I had to share.

That is so great! I am thinking I need to post some things for sale on craig's list. Just some items we got from people (with no receipts) that we kept around thinking we might use them...now definately sure we will not. Oh well......waiting to hear from you when the baby comes!

Blogging feels so weird to me now. In the same way writing a hand written letter feels weird and texting a quick message feels normal. I hate to say it, but I've become one of *those* people.  When I was introduced to Instagram I knew it would take over. Only because I know the Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles really only care about photos since we keep in regular touch on the phone and via skype. And I was really only blogging in such detail for them and for my own memory sake; I still keep journals for each kid and a silly quotes journal to remember all the hilarious that goes on in our home.  I'm going to throw some pictures in here randomly for those of you who aren't on Instagram and haven't seen my kids in over a year...  since I last blogged, Rachel turned 11! keeping the sickies away

Probably like most of you Moms, I've been sick of being sick throughout the winter. Its such a fun, holiday time of year and totally stinks when you're stuck inside, with illnesses. And, if you're not a fan of getting a vaccine for every little bug that goes around, you end up realizing you have to do your research to learn how to build up the immune systems and keep your brood healthy. I'm also learning that when it comes to sickness {we're talking sickness that won't cause death}, its actually good for our bodies to learn to fight things off naturally and not constantly running to get shots or drugs to cure us from ever getting sick again {which those shots don't do anyway}.  I'm no pro and my oldest child isn't even 7 yet, so I'm definitely not posting this to teach you ladies anything. And, for those of you with older kids, feel free to leave tips for how you keep your family healthy or natural ways to fight off colds and viruses.  ...
