Our BIG News!!

Jason got a new job!! He will no longer be commuting 4 hours a day and will be driving about 2.5 miles from our house, to his new office. He is working for a company based out of Sebastopol and doing 100% telecommuting. We cannot tell you what an amazing answer to prayer this is! Its something we've prayed about for at least a year, but kind of thought it would take more time, so we've been waiting on God to show us when the right time is. As Jason tells the story, things kind of just fell into place with this new job. He found the job listing, sent his resume, they contacted him and said "what would you like your salary to be?" he told them, they jumped and said "we'd like to meet you!"
From there, everything literally fell into place and it was very evident that God was opening doors left and right. Such a huge blessing!

Our prayer is that God would bless him at this company and bless our family and church life through it. We can't tell you how excited we are about what lies in store for us. This opens up some amazing possibilites and good changes in life in general. :)
He's going to be renting an office a couple miles from our house and working a very regular 8-5pm. I can't imagine.

Anyway, if you get the chance, give a shout out to Jason on his post... he'd love to hear your congrats. Don't be afraid... he doesn't bite. ;)

Haha, no joke. I'm starting to think people either think he's weird or just unapproachable.

I'm not usually this way at all (and typically get annoyed by mushy people that make you pay other people compliments) but its weird how whenever he posts something, he gets almost completely ignored! Then I post about bras or something and way too many women post about it. Its really odd... Plus, I figured maybe some of our readers only look on here these days. So now NONE of you have an excuse.
Haha. I knew this blog thing would get out of control. ;)

Wow, that is awesome! Its is going to be such a crazy change for you guys to be able to spend time together during the week in DAYLIGHT hours!! :) I love it when Nick is able to get home before its dark... makes all the difference for some reason.

Oh, and PS, I know what you mean about no one commenting on Jason's blog posts... Nick gets totally frustrated about that too. He knows people read his blog, and then there are only a handful of people "brave" enough to comment on his. (You being one of them!) :)

I didn't know Nick still updates his blog! I'll have to check. Actually, I'll add him to my cool feed reader. I rarely get around to checking blogs anymore, because whenever people update, it shows up in my feed reader. So nice.
But I didn't add his because I was checking a while back and it was never updated.

Tell him that's not good for my health. ;)
