I have no idea if all moms feel this way, but I know I do. Motherhood for me is a constant state of feeling sanctified, humiliated, overjoyed, blessed, cups flowing over, and... at the bottom of a dry cup. I almost hate blogging about these topics because while everyone wants to find a way to say we're all the same, or it looks the same in each family, or every woman handles her day just the same, its not true. At all. We're so vastly different from one another, which is a good thing. However, I'm guessing its a for sure thing that we all have amazing days and we all have rough days. Today was a mixture of both, as Mondays typically are. The weekend was busy and we all woke up today feeling a little bit on the grouchy side, unmotivated to do anything and wanting to just be outside in the beautiful warm weather. So we went outside. We walked and talked as we went to Starbucks to get coffee for Yours Truly. Ethan told me he loves our walks because we talk about a hu

St. Patrick's Day

It was our 3rd annual St. Patrick's Day party with our friends! I never know what to refer to the Bliss family as... since my little sister married Katie's younger brother. I like to say we're family... but I've been corrected by some people that its not actually accurate. Whatever. We laughed until some of us had tears in our eyes.  The girl's dessert table.

and then February came and went.

I feel like I should start every post off with, "so I haven't blogged in a while..." but I'm not going to because its weird. I have nothing of great significance to say. At least I don't think I do. I'm at a season in life that leaves me feeling very odd to write about life. My kids are getting bigger, they don't do all the cutsie little things that toddlers and babies do, they deal with bigger kid issues and definitely don't want me sharing that online. We're busy, but that seems lame to talk about too. Miles is the one I often feel like blogging about because he's in that amazing stage with daily changes and all these big-boy milestones that I know I will one day forget. the day he made Micky and Minnie Mouse kiss.  He's talking up a storm in true Arnold kid fashion and speaks in full sentences for the most part. I used to tell people that only we could understand him, but recently I've noticed when friends come over they
