I'm ashamed at how pathetic these look, but we've been busy and this was my last minute attempt the other night. :)

I'm entering the 3rd trimester this week! I can't believe its already here. We're getting super eager to meet our baby and can't wait to start life with her. Its been fun feeling her kicks and squirms; the kids love it that she kicks after they talk to my tummy.

thanks, Jennie. I know these last 3 months are going to fly by, so I'm trying to enjoy every minute of it! And... enjoy the simple life with two kids. :)

We totally should meet up again like we did several months back! I'll email you.

Aw, you look great! Enjoy the simple life with two kids, but you know what? Adding a third (and fourth) child was pretty easy! It was getting used to having TWO that was the hardest for me! You'll do great! :)

I've heard many woman agree with that and many disagree. I think I agree with it. Once you have two you've already learned how to multi-task, so adding a 3rd isn't really a new feeling... its just more work and more time spent on another child. I think it will be an adjustment for sure, but I'm not really thinking it will be as hard as some have said. Though I have been properly warned. :)

Nice Stef! We should get together again sometime soon. Maybe we could even plan something where we could see Laura and Erin at the same time? I don't know how crazy your summer is turning out... but I think if we did a week day Erin and I could do it.

Aw, thanks girls. I did feel dreadful that night, but such is life.

One Thousandth blog post + GIVEAWAY!!

This marks the  one thousandth blog post   for me !  If you added the blogging over at Jastef.net, I'm sure it would be far more, but I haven't blogged over there since Kara was a baby. For my simple mind, Blogger worked out much better for me. Sorry, husband.  I've been at this blogging thing for almost 8 years and I'm still not sick of it! keeping the sickies away

Probably like most of you Moms, I've been sick of being sick throughout the winter. Its such a fun, holiday time of year and totally stinks when you're stuck inside, with illnesses. And, if you're not a fan of getting a vaccine for every little bug that goes around, you end up realizing you have to do your research to learn how to build up the immune systems and keep your brood healthy. I'm also learning that when it comes to sickness {we're talking sickness that won't cause death}, its actually good for our bodies to learn to fight things off naturally and not constantly running to get shots or drugs to cure us from ever getting sick again {which those shots don't do anyway}.  I'm no pro and my oldest child isn't even 7 yet, so I'm definitely not posting this to teach you ladies anything. And, for those of you with older kids, feel free to leave tips for how you keep your family healthy or natural ways to fight off colds and viruses.  ...
