I am SO not a fan of diaper bags. I can't stand the big, huge ones that you have to lug around and really don't need to. I hate that they can be so pricey and its annoying how they don't last from child to child. I do like having a bigger one for vacations or all day trips we take, but I've been searching for something smaller to use on a day-2-day basis. I like to double it as a purse for me, which can be kind of hard. I do love the first one. I think its got a super cute pattern, but I can't quite figure out how big it is and how you carry it. I'm eventually going to trek over to the store and try them out, but for now... here's my faves.

I used backpacks as diaper bags for both my kids. Much cheaper and easier. And you don't have to try to balance the diaper bag and infant seat! It stays put and leaves both arms/hands free for baby seat and toddlers! =) Your choices are really cute, though!

I agree with the 3rd option too. Although the 1st is super cute, I think you'll find it doesn't have enough room. The 3rd looks like a purse so you should have room to do both! (Not that I've had to carry diapers around yet, but I do know some about fashion;) !!)

One Thousandth blog post + GIVEAWAY!!

This marks the  one thousandth blog post   for me !  If you added the blogging over at Jastef.net, I'm sure it would be far more, but I haven't blogged over there since Kara was a baby. For my simple mind, Blogger worked out much better for me. Sorry, husband.  I've been at this blogging thing for almost 8 years and I'm still not sick of it! I like to write {never thought I'd say that} and I really enjoy interacting with people; friends and then strangers who become friends.  Its great and its been a great way for us to share our day-to-day life with our families, since we moved.  Jason and I have been mulling around what I should do for a 1,000 blog post giveaway, just for fun. keeping the sickies away

Probably like most of you Moms, I've been sick of being sick throughout the winter. Its such a fun, holiday time of year and totally stinks when you're stuck inside, with illnesses. And, if you're not a fan of getting a vaccine for every little bug that goes around, you end up realizing you have to do your research to learn how to build up the immune systems and keep your brood healthy. I'm also learning that when it comes to sickness {we're talking sickness that won't cause death}, its actually good for our bodies to learn to fight things off naturally and not constantly running to get shots or drugs to cure us from ever getting sick again {which those shots don't do anyway}.  I'm no pro and my oldest child isn't even 7 yet, so I'm definitely not posting this to teach you ladies anything. And, for those of you with older kids, feel free to leave tips for how you keep your family healthy or natural ways to fight off colds and viruses.  ...
