Visiting

The week before Christmas, my sister and her family arrived
in town from So Cal and then that Sunday I surprised everyone
(esp. my Mom)with a surprise visit from our cousin Adam,
who we haven't seen in 6+ years!
We all went to lunch and then my parent's house for
games and more yummy food.
{Adam is my Mom's oldest brother's son.}

I remember Adam!!! He was there during one of my visits to your house. Wow, he changed a lot. What a great looking guy! What fun you all had.

That's cool, Jenn! I had no idea the two of you have met. I think he's met several of my friends that check this site out. :)

He's a personal trainer, so yeah... he does look pretty good. We were all picking his brain on good "staying fit" habits. :)

I remember Adam from a long time ago. Maybe before you moved to the east bay? I know I've met Adam & Casey (is that how you spell her name?) a few times. Fun to see a current picture! And, Amber - you look beautiful! I haven't seen any pics of you guys for a while, since you set your blog to private!

keeping the sickies away

Probably like most of you Moms, I've been sick of being sick throughout the winter. Its such a fun, holiday time of year and totally stinks when you're stuck inside, with illnesses. And, if you're not a fan of getting a vaccine for every little bug that goes around, you end up realizing you have to do your research to learn how to build up the immune systems and keep your brood healthy. I'm also learning that when it comes to sickness {we're talking sickness that won't cause death}, its actually good for our bodies to learn to fight things off naturally and not constantly running to get shots or drugs to cure us from ever getting sick again {which those shots don't do anyway}.  I'm no pro and my oldest child isn't even 7 yet, so I'm definitely not posting this to teach you ladies anything. And, for those of you with older kids, feel free to leave tips for how you keep your family healthy or natural ways to fight off colds and viruses.
