I'm not much of a poet....
Take your bitterness, your hatred, and your desire to put down. Take your unloving, self- righteousness and throw it all down. Throw it down at the foot of the cross where He died, throw it down in the dirt where His shed blood for you lies.
Take your time and money, your energy and your gifts - place them all into service for the One who uplifts.
Don't be fearful of tomorrow, don't allow grief to win. Give God all the glory and let Christ work within.
Remember He loves you; you're made in His image. He cares for you, tends to you and He knows all your struggles. When you suffer, He suffers, when you ache, He aches too.
Don't take daily trials and throw them away -- take them to Christ, each and every new day.
Your conversations with Him are sweet perfume - your service to Him lights up a dark room.
Putting bread on the table of a widow or orphan; showing God's love to others is how we adore Him.
When you raise up your hand, may it be only to praise Him, when you shout out with boldness, may it be shouts of Good News!
Don't let anger end your day, finish with gladness and rest away.
Don't allow today's issues to fog up your lenses... remember Christ's glory is why we are present!
If you go through life fighting for anything, be sure to "fight the good fight" for Heaven's King.
Remember the Gospel is why we are here; to bless those around us each and every new year.
God gives you breath to return to Him praise, so don't be a downer, but full of His grace!
Take your eyes off of man; his failures and faults. Put them back on the One you want to resemble the most. Be fearful of nothing, but hell's furry and God's wrath. Remembering why we always hold fast.
Depart from temptation, He gives a way out. There's no situation where Christ you're without. He knows every pitfall, He knows we are tried... but He gives us His mercy and guides alongside.
He's faithful and tender, He's righteous and just. So don't ask Him why, just remember you must.
Rejoice in today, be your Maker's delight! Don't sit around grumpy, or the starter of fights.
Reflect God's goodness wherever you go, sharing His saving grace to everyone you know!
And have a blessed weekend :)
