Its deceptively fun and yummy!

Our kids have always been good eaters; I won't complain about that. They love green foods and they'll typically eat whatever is put on their plates. Ethan has a few food allergies, but its nothing too serious.
A little while back my friend on Facebook was selling her cookbook called "Deceptively Delicious". I've wanted to give that book a try for quite sometime, but always avoided buying it because I don't need to hide good food in my kid's food, to get them to eat it. I was in Costco about 6 months ago and looked through the cookbook and quickly fell in love with it! So when my friend posted it on her facebook profile, I put my bid in for it right away! It arrived in the mail just before we began packing and moving, so I just started looking through it last week. We've made a few things in it and so far, we're just enjoying how fun and healthy it is! The recipes for baby food are simply marvelous. Kara has never eaten with such delight. Ethan and Rachel are able to help me make the food, because none of it is too difficult. The best part? Teaching them as we cook! They've learned all about different fruits and veggies, different food groups and what the food does for our bodies. I'll be humble and admit here that I've learned a thing or two as well :)

Anyway, just wanted to plug the book. I'm sure its great if your kids are picky eaters as well. Mine have just really enjoyed having the good stuff mixed in their food and being able to prepare some of it with me.

oh, sure! lots of them. We loved the applesauce muffins, the cauliflower eggs, banana bread, the beef stew is amazing. Ethan adored the Aloha Chicken Kebabs, the avocado spread is divine. We're getting ready to try the Blueberry Cheesecake cupcakes. I think we may have them for Jason's birthday :)
