Maybe they should just be called "weekly tidbits"
What I'm thinking: Right now I'm drinking tea and thinking about staying healthy. I have been "flirting" with getting a cold for the past 4 days and I'm determined to beat it.
What I'm reading: Just my Bible this past week. However, I'm starting the book one of our Pastors wrote called Doctrine.
What kid quote made me laugh: Today Ethan walked up to Rachel and asked her "do you think I look good in this shirt?" to which Rachel replied "Um... you look pretty good, but not handsome in it." - I LOL :)
What we're learning: how much we love Spring!! We're enjoying the rainy days, the days with hail, the warm, sunny days and the fact that we haven't had to use the heater in over a month now!
What I'm watching: nada. Last night was my TV night, with Biggest Loser, Lost and V.
What's cooking: Italian stew just finished and a fudge cream pie is coming soon!
What 's something fun we did over the weekend: Saturday Jason helped a family from church move & then went to work for the rest of the day... Emily, the kids and I spent the day in Seattle!
Sunday we went to church and then went out to lunch out on the docks off Lake Washington and ate lunch at the water front. Such a beautiful day! Came home and played ball in the street with our neighbors and then had lots of people over for dinner, dessert and games that night!
Random Question: What's one song you really hate? This is going to be replacing the "what are you wearing?" question. I'll answer one random question that you ask me to answer, either via my website or via email. So my answer on this one is "I kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry.
What I'm thankful for: God's Word. His faithfulness to me. My husband and my kids. I love them.
What I'm creating: the grocery list for the month of May :)
What I'm praying: for various family members, for our Pastors, for our neighbors and for my own diligence, grace and Spiritual strength.
What I'm planning: I'm not really "planning" anything right now. I'll be doing lots of grocery shopping next weeks, so I'm getting that organized, I'm working on re-organizing the clothes bins in the garage, to utilize space. My goal is to be able to put together a large bag (at least) of clothes to give to the half way house near us.
What I'm looking forward to: this Saturday we'll be going to our friend's annual Fishing Derby and then Sunday we're going to another family's house for lunch, after church!
