a new idea!
Alright girls, you're all super sweet. I can't get over your support and love on my previous post. Wow. I feel inspired all over again! Which is great, because I think the tendency is to get into good shape and then slack off or revert to old ways. My friend Jessi gave me a great idea (not sure if she meant to, but she did anyway!) I think I'm going to check back every 2 months or so, letting you all know how I'm doing and asking YOU how you've kept up with working out! Maybe it will be a great way for us to inspire one another and to hold each other accountable. Don't feel bad if you don't want to join in... I won't be offended. I just thought, for those of you who DO want to, feel free to leave a comment on this post and share with us what some of your goals/ideas are. I'd love to help and encourage you all in the ways you've encouraged me!

I also heard an interview with Glenn Beck (Fox News) about how fashion magazines are not allowed in his house because they lead to unhealthy obsessions in ladies (usually doing with how they look and how much they weigh) and he has two young daughters and wife (obviously). He also said that his wife and him agreed that she is not allowed to say "Oh, I am so fat!" in their home because it has negative affects on the kids.
I know this is kinda outside of what you were asking for in terms of replies, but I have tried to put some of these things in practice...after all, it's not just our body, but the Lord's, and it's not just us we affect, but our children too. xoxo
What Glenn Beck said is SO true! I never buy those mags because of that very thing. I'm too worried I'll become obsessed with what I don't have and start idolizing those things. Just seeing the cover of those mags can depress me. Reminds me I have NO sense of clothing style, no idea how on earth to correctly apply (or care enough to wear) make up, and then they're all insanely skinny 2 days after their baby's birth. Its all false anyway. Most of them cheat in ways I'd NEVER cheat, so....
I've never heard Glenn Beck. I think he and I would get along swell :)
Like I said in my previous post, I DO like to know that I look good. I mean, if we're being honest, lets just get it said :-)
Since getting married, its become sort of a pride thing for when I'm out with my family. I want them to be proud of me that way and know that I'm doing my best to stay healthy and to look the best I can. Setting an appropriate balance is where it can become difficult.
