company picnic

Amazon throws one amazing company picnic.
I had no idea, before going, that we would have so much fun!
Just happens its was on one of the hottest days of the summer,
but they were well prepared with lots of water games and water play.
Aside from the food not only being amazingly delicious and 100% free,
the beer on tap was also to die for
the games were amazing
 the rides, super fun:
hayride
horse drawn carriage rides
pool
bouncy houses
jumbo water slide
mini golf
jousting knights
rock climbing wall
train rides
and more!

I'm already looking forward to next year's picnic! Such a fun outing with the fam.
And, Jason had the camera almost the whole day, so sadly, there aren't many pictures with him in them. We need to get better with that.

the picnic was set in the beautiful countryside of Issaquah, Washington.
About 15 minutes from our house.

with more than 10,000 people in attendance, I think this was enough soda.

the view on the hayride.

I'm SO glad she's learning to smile at the camera :)

mini golf, pool style. stunt riders on their motorcycles and the rock wall.

this jumbo water slide was a huge hit!

Kara wanted to go, but wasn't allowed to go down alone,
so I passed on vanity and got a little wet ;-)

the Siscos hung out with us for a little bit
and baby Evie got a kick out watching the kids go down the huge slide!

we took many breaks for ice water and cold treats. it was so beastly hot!

she climbed up here all by herself. she's definitely our climber.

I want one of these boats! the kids got to turn the knobs on the inside,
to go whichever direction they want to turn.
If you want to go straight ahead, you turn them both, the same direction.

Thank you Amazon, for a great family day!!

now that is one amazing company picnic! It's beautiful there as well, though it looks really hot. I love the pictures of your kiddos in the little boats! How fun!

Cola, it was SO hot. Probably the hottest day we've had so far. Came close to peaking at 100 degrees. Thankfully the amount of water games was endless, which gave our kids the opportunity to be comfortably wet :)

The boats were adorable!

One of Steven's friends just started working there at Amazon (Tim Vance, doing something with the Kindle), so I'll have to pass this post along to his wife so she can see what they get to look forward to next summer. :) Looks like fun!!
