keeping up with us :)
I forget that not everyone has Facebook and so not everyone gets those daily glimpses into our lives.
Even family members that we don't get the chance to chat with on a regular basis look here for stuff I often post on Facebook, or only tell to people I see on a daily basis and so then I call the family member, or far away friend and they go "what?! I didn't know about that!"
Sorry guys :(
We have two bits of news/information going on with our family I wanted to share via the website.
1.) After working a 3pm-11pm shift for the past 11 months, Jason switches over to the much anticipated 7am-3pm shift this Tuesday!! We're thrilled. This comes at a perfect time with school starting on September 7th and since we're down to only one car now, it will be easier for the kids and I to get up with him at 6am and take him into work and then easy enough for us to go get him at 3pm, instead of making the trek at 11:30 pm.
He keeps the same days off he has now, which are Sunday/Monday.
2.) I've been having some pretty crazy health issues; not sure what's causing them, but they've become painful enough that I finally went to see a Dr this morning. Most of my pain/discomfort is in my pelvic abdomen area and over the past couple of weeks, the pain has gone from 'uncomfortable' to 'hard to handle.' Like, in some cases, even taking breaths in has been painful.
Anyway, saw an excellent Doctor today who is very excited about helping me find the causes behind these health issues. We did some basic (feminine) stuff today and next week I go in for some more detailed work. A CT scan, many blood tests, another pelvic exam, etc... Please keep me in your prayers - I'd very much appreciate it!
The Doctor has several things she'd like to rule out and we'd mainly like to just once and for all, figure out what the real issue is.
So I think that's it as far as major news goes! I'm sorry if you've been in the dark and only heard bits and pieces lately.

And I will be keeping you in my prayers as you have these tests done. God is good!
The new schedule will be more like us just taking the kids from bed, to the car at 6am. Our kids typically sleep in until 8:45 or 9am, so I anticipate a few weeks of adjustment and I bet they'll begin taking afternoon naps again :)
Also, the mornings that Emily is here and not running off to work super early, we can leave them in bed.
