last week
I wanted to wait to post these, since the giveaway
needed to be the top post until it was over.
We got our tree last week!
Decided not to cut one down... we've decided we like the pre-cut ones much better.
We went to the same farm that we went to last year and had a lot of fun, again!
I put these pictures in Antique color.
No worries... Washington hasn't turned light yellow and brown'ish :)
it was done on purpose.
Jason still liked the sign and took the picture :)
"hey, Kara! The camera is THIS way!"
Nope... never works.
I love how lost in thought I was here.... its just a tree, lady! ;-)
the posed one.
this is the one we picked!
We went home for our Christmas tree tradition and had hot chocolate,
watched Elf and decorated the tree.
While Jason was putting the lights on the tree,
Kara decided to get cozy and climbed under the
tree skirt for a little rest.
I can't tell you how excited it makes me to see these to becoming
best buddies.
Last night when they were going to bed, Rachel leaned over the
top bunk and said "Good night, Kara girl... I love you!"
and Kara replied with "G'nite Wachel! I love you to the MOON!"
excuse me for a minute while my heart melts.

Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas to you Arnold's. You that is still really odd to say, Arnold's ....Mr. and Mrs. Arnold ... :-)
Shane, that's a HUGE bummer! Sorry about that. We've noticed both the trees we've had up here smell SO strong. Not sure if its because we live right where they're chopped down or if its the kind we're getting... but the smell is over powering if you're right next to it :)
Love the picture of Kara under the tree skirt!
We have to do the fake tree this year. :-( Dr.s said no real tree. On the plus side, no needles to sweep.
Gina, I know! They're all getting so tall too. Rachel completely bypassed size 4T and went straight into the XS in the big girl's section and Kara wore 2T for like 3 months. Its nuts. Going by too quickly.
