they came for a visit

My sister and her 4 kids came to visit us for about 2 weeks!
Our kids hadn't seen each other in a year, so the reunion was quite thrilling to behold ;-)
And we had a lot of fun with them during their stay...

there was lots of lego play for the boys.

and lots of magnet dolls, doll house and dress-up play with the girls.

and no school meant we got to play first thing in the morning.
Even before eating breakfast :)

we baked Christmas cookies

for the sweet potato casserole

chocolate chip & blueberry pancakes

even caught Kara sneaking some of the chocolate chips ;-)

I don't know about you, but we use this stuff for pretty much everything.

and enjoyed some fun at the park!

Jess, we use it for SO many different things!
1. hair conditioner
2. facial moisturizer
3. in place of butter on many things
4. on dry skin
5. in place of crisco
6. in lots of recipes
7. sun tan lotion
8. we've used it for almost every skin condition for our babies :)
9. my pregnant tummy always loved it :)

there's more, but I can't think of them. When I do I'll email you.

We had such a good time. The love was overwhelming and of course the yummy food, chit chats, shopping, Thai food, visits from Em & David, toys, movies, gifts, tears, hugs, encouragement...I know I'm going on but seriously, we are extreemly blessed to have your love. I miss you already.

Katie, I am really hoping to come! Sounds like WAY too much fun to miss out on :)

Trish, we loved having you guys. Yes, we had to step out of our comfort zones {you guys and us} but we made memories and I'm glad our kids got to spend special cousin time and that we got to have you all to ourselves for 2 weeks :)

Love you!

It looks like you had such a fun time! Cousins are the best.

I would love it if you wrote a post about Coconut oil, where you get it and the different ways you use it.

I might just do that, Charlotte! We love it. And, its SO good for you! I got rid of Kara's hair gel about a year ago and have used the C oil in her hair every since. A little goes a very long way and its all natural! :)
