We're not homeless ;-)
God provides. Always. Not always how we expect, but He always provides.
We're moving into our new house in 11 days! Last week we had no idea what we'd be doing or where we'd be living and today we pack and clean with a purpose :)
The home is closer to Jason's work, closer to our church, amazing freeway access and near several friends {still near our community of friends now too}
We were looking and checking out what we thought was right for us and what we thought God was pointing us to, and then He laid this place in our laps. Literally; we stumbled upon it as we were closing the laptop and giving up on looking for the night. There it was.
Its the same rent we pay now {which seems like a miracle} and is the same size as our current home, which is perfect.
We will miss being country folk, that's for sure. We've loved living in this home. We've loved the memories, the times spent with family and friends in it, the amazing yards to play in, the neighbors {we want to pack them up and bring them with us} we've mostly enjoyed being able to open our home to new friends and old friends and anyone who wants to hang out with us. I'm thankful to be moving to a home where we can keep doing that.
The next few weeks are gonna be crazy, but its a happy-thankful- crazy.
We're packing a little bit each day. Today I began clearing out and cleaning the back of the house so when we move I won't have to come back and do the whole thing. I moved all our stuff into the front bathroom and I washed and scrubbed the back bathroom and crossed that big job off my list. It felt good :)
The kitchen is being remodeled after we move, so thankfully I get to pack and leave it as-is.
Thank you so much for your prayers. I know our dilemma wasn't the end of the world and compared to most 'problems' it was teeny tiny, but we are so grateful to God for showing us again how truly faithful and good He is. And thankful to you all for your kind offers and willingness to even help us look for a place.
Here we go!
