If you're here visiting, its because I've invited you! So welcome. :) We're trying something a bit new here... a blog where I can write more mommy type stuff and write a little more free, without worrying about who might be reading it. :) This is going to be where I post most of my stuff and I will continue to upload all our pictures to jastef.net (although I'll keep some posted here) and I will continue to post family type updates over there as well. I will no longer be posting any personal stuff, recipes or product plugs over at jastef.net

yay! thanks for stopping by girls. This will allow me to be more free about what I write on here... you know, all those stories about spanking the kids, screaming my head off and running the car into other random cars and NOT leaving a note. :) Haha! You know what I mean.

I love knowing what you are up to...and i'm still drooling at that yummy oreo recipe. Love the recent picture of Ethan and Rachel too! I have no idea how you find the time to keep a website on top of everything else, Stef. Wow! Thanks for sharing the fun. Love you!!

One Thousandth blog post + GIVEAWAY!!

This marks the  one thousandth blog post   for me !  If you added the blogging over at Jastef.net, I'm sure it would be far more, but I haven't blogged over there since Kara was a baby. For my simple mind, Blogger worked out much better for me. Sorry, husband.  I've been at this blogging thing for almost 8 years and I'm still not sick of it! I like to write {never thought I'd say that} and I really enjoy interacting with people; friends and then strangers who become friends.  Its great and its been a great way for us to share our day-to-day life with our families, since we moved.  Jason and I have been mulling around what I should do for a 1,000 blog post giveaway, just for fun. keeping the sickies away

Probably like most of you Moms, I've been sick of being sick throughout the winter. Its such a fun, holiday time of year and totally stinks when you're stuck inside, with illnesses. And, if you're not a fan of getting a vaccine for every little bug that goes around, you end up realizing you have to do your research to learn how to build up the immune systems and keep your brood healthy. I'm also learning that when it comes to sickness {we're talking sickness that won't cause death}, its actually good for our bodies to learn to fight things off naturally and not constantly running to get shots or drugs to cure us from ever getting sick again {which those shots don't do anyway}.  I'm no pro and my oldest child isn't even 7 yet, so I'm definitely not posting this to teach you ladies anything. And, for those of you with older kids, feel free to leave tips for how you keep your family healthy or natural ways to fight off colds and viruses.  ...
