she did
I keep meaning to post about this and keep forgetting, so since I have some time... Rachel went on the big girl potty last weekend! It was very exciting. I have no idea if it will lead into anything more, but we're so proud of her. She's been watching Ethan go, with a lot of curiosity. On Saturday she was pulling at her pants and trying to climb up on the potty, so I went in the garage and brought in the little potty chair and she (very proudly) sat right down and went pee-pee! I can't tell you how excited Ethan was for her. He cheered and screamed and kissed and hugged, gave up his stickers and even gave her his Lightening McQueen car to play with. It was quite the celebration. ;)

Ethan is such a good big brother!
The other day my neighbor told me that she was walking by our house a few nights earlier and could see me in the playroom with the kids. She said "Rachel was crying about something and you were dancing and jumping, trying to get her to cheer up." She told me that she stopped and thought "Hmmmm... the life of a mom."
She's wanting to have a baby so she's very curious about all of it. Its kind of funny. I felt silly but she's right... it IS my life right now. I'm enjoying it. :)
He's doing well, but hasn't quite grasped the concept of telling me when he needs to go. I still have to take him every 20 minutes.
Laura, I've heard the same thing. I think the younger siblings learn everything a bit earlier. Rachel talks better than Ethan did at this age too. He talked a lot, but she forms her words way better than he did and probably from hearing him. She also learned how to walk one month later than him, but once she started, she's done it like a pro. They try to copy everything the older one does, so I think that's why you'll notice them doing stuff either earlier or better.
