Her 5th tooth came out last night and 5 more are loose!
What's happening to my baby? 
Kara is getting increasingly concerned because she doesn't realize a new tooth eventually grows in. 
She told Rachel, "soon you'll have to buy pretend teeth like the Grandma on The Lorax." :) 

Congrats, Rachel! Ethan has lost 8, so I think she's just in a hurry to catch up to him.

That's so adorable. I love what she told Rachel. We were talking about loosing teeth and Audrey got very concerned that she wouldn't have any teeth. Oh well. She find out soon enough.

My kids all did this - they would freak out and say "But I like having teeth!" and I'd have to explain that new ones grow in :)

One Thousandth blog post + GIVEAWAY!!

This marks the  one thousandth blog post   for me !  If you added the blogging over at Jastef.net, I'm sure it would be far more, but I haven't blogged over there since Kara was a baby. For my simple mind, Blogger worked out much better for me. Sorry, husband.  I've been at this blogging thing for almost 8 years and I'm still not sick of it! keeping the sickies away

Probably like most of you Moms, I've been sick of being sick throughout the winter. Its such a fun, holiday time of year and totally stinks when you're stuck inside, with illnesses. And, if you're not a fan of getting a vaccine for every little bug that goes around, you end up realizing you have to do your research to learn how to build up the immune systems and keep your brood healthy. I'm also learning that when it comes to sickness {we're talking sickness that won't cause death}, its actually good for our bodies to learn to fight things off naturally and not constantly running to get shots or drugs to cure us from ever getting sick again {which those shots don't do anyway}.  I'm no pro and my oldest child isn't even 7 yet, so I'm definitely not posting this to teach you ladies anything. And, for those of you with older kids, feel free to leave tips for how you keep your family healthy or natural ways to fight off colds and viruses.  ...
